Welcome to Dr. DeCamp's Lab Wiki Matt2.jpg

About the Research

The group focuses on the study of ultrafast dynamics of complex systems. Specifically, we utilize time-domain THz, optical pump-probe techniques, and time-resolved x-ray spectroscopies to study the dynamics of thin films and biomaterials.

Upcoming Talks

  • Matthew DeCamp Department of Physics and Astronomy Colloquium September 12, 2012
  • Matthew DeCamp and Yuan Gao Optical Society of America Annual Meeting, Rochester NY (2012)

News

  • Congratulations to Zhiyuan Chen for being a finalist for the Daicar-Bata prize for best student paper in the Physics Department (2011)
  • Congratulations to Yuan Gao for defending his PhD dissertation PROBING AND RECONSTRUCTING TRANSIENT ONE-DIMENSIONAL ACOUSTIC STRAINS USING TIME-RESOLVED X-RAY DIFFRACTION (4/4/13)
