Workshop venue

Arrival and departure times
The scientific program will start on Monday, October 5 and it will end on Wednesday, October 7. The registration desk will be located next to workshop room, including welcome coffee. Registration will start on Monday morning at 08.00. The workshop secretaries will be present to help you during the workshop.
Accommodation
All attendees are responsible for making their own hotel arrangements. A list of hotel in Grenoble is compiled in this PDF.
Transport
Public transport from Grenoble city center to workshop venue
The CNRS site is easily accessible by public transport. The new Tram B is running between Grenoble city center, the main railway station, and its terminus at the Résistance roundabout. The terminus is called 'Grenoble Presqu'île' and is only 150 m from the new site entrance. Trams run 7 days a week, from approx. 05.00 to 01.00.
From Lyon
- If you arrive at Lyon airport "Lyon-St. Exupéry" you can take the shuttle bus to Grenoble. It leaves the airport once every hour. The timetable of the bus can be found here. You can get off either directly at the Polygone Scientifique (stop "Place de la Resistance"), roughly 200m from the CNRS entrance (please tell the driver at the airport that you intend to do so) or at the Grenoble main train station.
- Low Speed Train (TER) from Lyon St Exupéry airport to Grenoble takes 1.30 hours, and there re 4 trains every day.
From Geneva
From Geneva airport, you can either take the train to Grenoble (www.ter-sncf.com), or a coach (http://www.aerocar.fr/en/timetables/) Please check the connections in advance. If needed, you can ask the workshop secretaries to check train or coach connections.
From Paris
Take the RER train (regional) from Charles De Gaulle airport to Paris Gare de Lyon train station and next the TGV (fast train) directly to Grenoble train station. The trip by TGV takes 3 hours, and there are 7 trains every day.
Passport and visa
Non EU participants should check with their travel agents, local French embassy or consulate to see whether they require a visa to enter France. If you need a written invitation from the CNRS for a visa, pleas send email to bnikolic@udel.edu.
